Testing significant differences between dependent groups?

Hi,


I have survey data that includes both state and national level data. I want to test if there are significant differences between a state and the national percentages (for variables such as race, sex, maternal education, as well as other mostly categorical and binary variables). Since one population is a subset of the other, how do I do this? I am using SAS to do the analysis-what is the right procedure in SAS? Thanks.|||Please try one of the following online Encyclopedias.
